π Today's Word:
Mark 14:42 Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!β
Mark 14:42 Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!β
These words were spoken because of what Judas was doing, but they could have been spoken about anyone. It could have been Peter, James or John. It could have been any one of his disciples. It could have been one of the Romans, or a Jewish leader. It could have been any person who praised him the day before but abandoned him that night. It could have been anyone because it seemed like all turned against him or abandoned him in the moment. Sadly it could have been you or I at that moment. Anyone who has acted like Christ on Sunday, and then the world on Monday could have been that betrayer. But why? The simple of it is that we live busy lives. We forget sometimes who we belong too. We may do fine on Sunday when life slows down, but let the world come down on us come Monday and we slip. We betray the one we want to be dedicated too. But there is good new for each of us. We serve a forgiving God. A God who may discipline but forgives our failures. Just like Judas, we have a choice. A choice to deny, betray or stand with Jesus. Have you ask forgiveness for you failures lately?
π Today's Prayer:
Father, forgive me for my betrayal when I am weak. Create in me a clean heart for you. Amen
Father, forgive me for my betrayal when I am weak. Create in me a clean heart for you. Amen
Our Hope is that you walk away with a Blessing!!
