I've told many people, when you go to God in prayer go in confidence with your request. But later when I talk to them their outcome was not what they expected. Why? Their is usually only two reasons why. First one is, many ask with wrong motives. Is your motive to show God's glory or your own. The second one is in the word confidence. Many don't realize what that word really means. It means the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust. Many don't rely on God, they don't fully trust God to handle their life. But that is what it takes and what God wants. So go before God's throne of grace with confidence and stand on his promise.
