This verse has always bothered some people. You know the part about, nothing is hidden from God's sight. Even though that is true, that is not what this verse means. If you read the verse before it you will see it said, The word of God judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. In other words, all those thought's we wish we had not had, and the sin we harbor in our heart. Bad feelings towards others, thoughts of revenge or even selfish pride. These are some of the things God wants us to get rid of. God want us to be like Jesus, so he disciplines us on those thought's and attitudes. His word says, take every thought (or feeling you could say) captive and make them obedient to Christ. Wouldn't it be easier than discipline! No matter how far away we are from our Father in Heaven, he is always extending his hands for us to take them. You can’t hide your sins or yourself from him. So take the first step and allow him to lead you back into his light. You will be freed from the shackles of sins and all the darkness that surrounds them.
