Power is one of those things we don't think about, unless we need it. We let our spiritual batteries run down as we walk, then when we need power, we try to do a quick spiritual charge. A real world example is much like our cell phones. I've watch my grand kids with their phones go somewhere and have to find a power source because their phones are almost dead. Instead of charging them when they get the opportunity they stay on them till they are drained. We do the same thing with our spiritual life so many times. We don't take the opportunity to charge up our spiritual batteries when we have the chance. We would rather spend the time at the lake or in front of the TV, then when hardship or trials come our batteries are low. And just like our phones, it takes time to charge them up. Spend time with God throughout the day and keep you spiritual batteries charged to full capacity. That way when needed, you don't have to try to reconnect with our power source.
