Jack County Cowboy Church

I was working in the yard the other day and turn over a rock to be moved. Under the rock was an Ant colony. There were tunnels in every direction and ants busy as they could be carrying food around through the tunnels. As I watched them scurry around through all the maze of tunnels, I wondered if they knew where they were really going. Every now and again I would see ants turn around in a tunnel and go a different direct. From my vantage point I could see everything they were doing. In a similar fashion, God scrutinizes our paths. From where we are, tunneling along, all we see is the paths immediately ahead, behind, and beside us. But from God’s vantage point, He can see exactly where we've been and precisely where we're going. "He is intimately acquainted with all my ways." As God watches us scurry around, sometimes aimlessly, I wonder if he thinks, “I wonder if they know where they are going.”
