π Today's Word:
Galatians 6:2 Carry each otherβs burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2 Carry each otherβs burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
What does it really mean to carry each other's burdens? The dictionary says that a burden is, a load or that which is borne with difficulty; obligation. I've seen through the years, people come to church with burdens. Just needing someone to talk to. Someone to pray with them. Someone just to be a friend when they feel all others have forsaken them. Only to leave feeling just as empty as they did when they walked in. The early church was said to be devoted to fellowship and the carrying of each others burdens. To be there in the time of need of it's family. But today I don't see this as much in the churches. It more about, what can they do for us. We must learn to listen to those who need our help, encourage them where we can, and be on the alert to share their burdens. And people who have burdens too heavy to carry on their own must be willing to let others help them lighten the load.
π Today's Prayer:
Father, open my eyes to see the burdens of others, and move me to care and compassion, giving me insight and strength to help lighten people's loads. Amen
Father, open my eyes to see the burdens of others, and move me to care and compassion, giving me insight and strength to help lighten people's loads. Amen
Our Hope is that you walk away with a Blessing!!
