π Today's Word:
Psalm 91:2 I will say of the Lord, βHe is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.β
Psalm 91:2 I will say of the Lord, βHe is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.β
Give you something to think about. Do we really trust God to direct our lives? Many say, it's hard to fully trust in something I cannot see, but yet we trust many other things in our daily life we cannot see. For example, everytime we drive across a bridge we trust it to hold up, yet bridges collapse now and again. We get in an airplane only to trust the pilot to get us to our destination. And there are many other things day in and day out we trust. We can't see the pilot or know what he's doing. We can't see the crews that built the bridge but we trust they did their job right. Yet the bible says, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders. Yet our God, our Creator who loves us more than anyone, who even sacrificed His Son for us to have forgiveness of sin and eternal life, we find Him difficult to fully trust. Itβs amazing. It doesnβt make sense to trust imperfect men and not to trust a perfect God.

Father, my trust I have placed in you that I may depend on you instead of myself. Amen
