2 Thessalonians 1:11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.

Some days seem like nothing goes right. But then again all of us have had one of those days when everything just fail into place. Like we were undefeatable. We even had a passion for what we were doing. The key is passion. Those days when things don't go right are usually when we are not into what we're doing. When we have that passion. Working for God is pretty much the same. A calling is when we are passionately using our God-given gifts in a way that pleases Him. I'm talking about those God-given gifts listed in the Bible like teaching, counseling, generosity, administration, and prayer, among many others. When we find ourselves involved with God, we also begin to find the work we were meant to do. And that’s how we discover our true calling from God and become passionate about the work.

Father, create in me a passion for the calling you have for me that I may be in your will. Amen
