π Today's Word:
Luke 12:35 "Be dressed ready for service and keep you lamps burning..."
Luke 12:35 "Be dressed ready for service and keep you lamps burning..."
Jesus was telling His Disciples and followers to be ready. Life seldom goes as we expect it. Cars break down. Problems happen in the home. Illness sometimes strikes. In life, we are frequently told to expect the unexpected. Jesus wants us to be ready for the unexpected, too. We may face ridicule or persecution for our beliefs. We may need to provide Christian leadership. We may have an opportunity to tell someone else what Jesus means in our lives. Someday, Jesus will return. Staying ready means staying close to Jesus. We stay close to Him by talking to Him and studying His Word, by worshipping Him regularly, by listening to the Holy Spirit's guidance, and by relying on Him. Will we be ready? Are you ready?
π Today's Prayer:
Father, Help me to be ready at your call for your service and to lean on Jesus. In Jesus Name, Amen
Father, Help me to be ready at your call for your service and to lean on Jesus. In Jesus Name, Amen
Our Hope is that you walk away with a Blessing!!
