π Today's Word:
1 John 1:5-6 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.

What is the greatest hindrance to Christianity?" "Other Christians." I am referring to the hypocrisy that the non-believers see in the inconsistent behavior of the Christians around them. People say, "Why should I believe? You Christians are no different than the rest of us." I can remember a time the church left me bitter, disillusioned and confused. The same people who were teaching on Sunday morning, the same people that were shaking hands and talking a good game, were the ones who were lying, cheating and doing unethical business deals on Monday. When we become believers in Christ, people watch us. Christians are by no means perfect, but we can strive to be better each day. We can strive to live in a way that gives people incentive to think, "I want what you have. Your life seems better, your actions are different, and I like what I see. Why are you different." We should be more like Christ in every area of our lives. We should strive to be 24/7 Christians, not just 1 hour/1 day a week Christians.
π Today's Prayer:
Father, search my hearts and show me where I am lacking. Help me to resist temptation, and to be more like You. Amen.
Father, search my hearts and show me where I am lacking. Help me to resist temptation, and to be more like You. Amen.
Our Hope is that you walk away with a Blessing!!
