The bible says what we do is written down in the books of heaven. Recorded, to be remembered. My guess would be for the great day of judgment. Nehemiah ask God not to blot out the good he had done because of his sin and the sin's of the people. Something to think about. I've seen athletes who won many metals' through the years but years later had all metals' and their recorded titles striped because of cheating in some form or another. Their usually left with nothing more than humiliation. Gets me to thinking, Lord have I done anything that would cause me to loose rewards because of sin? At judgment, will the things I did for the Lord still be recorded or will I be left with nothing more than humiliation before God's throne. The bible says all our works will be tested with fire to see what remains. Should cause a person to think about their life and the things we've done.
